“Before Dave became my personal trainer, I worked out on my own for years, convinced that I knew everything. Why do I need a personal trainer? It's for amateurs who have never held a dumbbell in their hands. But one day, I decided to give it a go and see for myself what the difference was between working out with and without a trainer. It was done out of curiosity, nothing more. So, I went for it and approached Dave at a local gym I used to go. He asked me this first question, "How many times a week do you do chest press, squats.. etc" I said, "Once.""You're gonna do it three times a week," he said. I liked it because it was something new for me in my fitness routine. Also, before I chose a personal trainer, I saw other personal trainers work at the gym with other clients, and some of them didn't seem very good to me since they would stare at their phones instead of focussing on the client's performance. Dave never had a phone in his hand and constantly pushed his clients to their limits. This is why I chose him. I trained with Dave in the gym for a few weeks, then when covid came along, he set up a home training program for me, which took my physical condition to the next level; I'd never been so shredded and muscular in my entire fitness journey. Dave transformed me into a workout monster. I really enjoyed it and miss that time.”
